On January 1, 2023, the Seville City Council's measure to limit the access of polluting vehicles to the Cartuja site came into force, making it a low-emission zone.
Although our bilingual nursery school was already located in a clearly privileged environment, this measure will favor its already optimal environmental conditions, as it will provide a plus of quality to the surrounding air.
However, this measure will not be an obstacle to easy, free and comfortable access to our facilities since, for practical purposes, only vehicles considered highly polluting are restricted: cars and light gasoline vans registered before January 2001, diesel registered before January 2006 and vehicles with more than 8 seats and heavy vehicles, both diesel and gasoline, registered before January 2005.
The rest of the vehicles (those registered after these dates) are not subject to any restriction and have free access and circulation as before.
In the near future it is planned to implement an electronic system to control access, although vehicles not affected will not have to do anything, as the system itself will control their conditions.

After the approval of the LOMLOE and the modification by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of the organization and minimum teachings of Early Childhood Education, the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Regional Government of Andalusia has published in Instruction 11/2022, of June 23, new aspects of organization and operation for the centers that will teach Early Childhood Education in the 2022/23 school year in Andalusia.
These rules define the aims, general and pedagogical principles, objectives and areas of the Early Childhood Education stage. Likewise, the autonomous regulation defines the key competences and the competence profile, the objectives, the specific competences, the evaluation criteria and the basic knowledge of the Early Childhood Education curriculum, establishes the evaluation of the learning process of the students enrolled in this stage and determines the transition process between Early Childhood Education and Primary Education for the Andalusian community.
The purpose of these modifications is to adapt the Early Childhood Education system to the challenges of the 21st century in accordance with the objectives set by the European Union and UNESCO for the decade 2020-30.
In this way, a competency-based teaching system is adopted and the time of Early Childhood Education is set as the starting point for the process of acquiring the key competencies that students must acquire in order to "progress with guarantees of success in their educational pathway, and to face the main global and local challenges and challenges".
The competency approach implies the acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes that students should be able to deploy in activities or in the resolution of problems or situations whose approach requires the basic knowledge of each of the three areas into which Early Childhood Education has been divided.

After a long process of study and programming, we finally published our new website on the Internet.
With the new project, we have tried, on the one hand, to completely renew the previous website, somewhat outdated by the passage of time and, on the other hand, we have sought to reflect the authenticity of our bilingual nursery schools, with extensive information about all topics of interest and with the recurrent use of our own photographs and those of our educational facilities.
We wanted to create a truly useful tool for families, comprehensive, documented and with representative images of the day to day life in our nursery schools.
With a responsive design that can be viewed on all types of devices, we have tried to convey the vibrant, modern and enriching environment in which we operate, the educational excellence to which we aspire and the quality that exists both within and around our nursery schools.
We aspire to consolidate our new website as a living element that is renewed and improved, periodically incorporating new information and news of interest both for our families and for all those interested in Early Childhood Education.
