Sometimes, well-meaning grandparents or working from home contribute to the temptation to undervalue the importance of quality child schooling.
Scientific research over the past 30 years has taught us that the most important period of human development is from birth to eight years of age. During these years, the development of cognitive skills, emotional well-being, social competence and good physical and mental health form a solid foundation for success well into adulthood. Although learning takes place throughout life, it occurs at a speed in early childhood that will never be matched later in life. The early childhood years are the central part of the early childhood period and, among other things, help to lay the foundation for success in school and beyond.
In the face of the undoubted benefits of early learning in quality early childhood schools, this unique opportunity to lay a solid foundation for future development is too often a missed opportunity. It is tempting to underestimate the importance of this educational stage, assuming obsolete positions that have been fully surpassed by educational sciences and empirical results, which can be manifested both in the non schooling of children at this stage and in schooling that is more conditioned by convenience or comfort than by educational demands, level and quality .
Current practices such as making grandparentsresponsible or teleworking have contributed to make it even more tempting, if possible, to miss this opportunity with our children .
Fortunately, however, more and more families are taking on with conviction and responsibility the task of finding the best possible nursery school, one that meets or even better, exceeds their expectations, the school that their children really deserve. And in this search it is necessary to proceed systematically, evaluating a series of areas, which will contribute to provide a more real, clear and valuative image of the center under study.

At 5th Avenue Schools we like to celebrate the end of the school year with a great children's show and a formal graduation ceremony for those students who move on to the second cycle.
Taking as a reference the normative regulations of those countries that have a more advanced development in early childhood education, either because they have national quality standards for this stage or, as is the case of Spain, because they have regulatory frameworks and inspection services to monitor compliance with them, we can state that the main areas subject to examination and evaluation in nursery schools are usually the following:

2. Safety and health of children.
3. Physical environment.
4.Educational team and support staff.
5. Relations with the children.
6. Relations with families and other entities.
7. Management and administration of the educational entity.
In accordance with the rules that regulate early childhood education, the centers and nursery schools must have an educational and assistance project that will define the particular objectives that each center intends to achieve, based on its reality and taking as a reference the principles that guide early childhood education and the corresponding curriculum prescriptions.

The safety and health of children are essential factors in the design and operation of early childhood education centers. To this effect, the regulatory provisions prescribe that "educational centers must meet the hygienic, acoustic, accessibility, habitability and safety conditions" established in this regard.

At the beginning of the nursery school year, our son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. His educators, after a training session given by a doctor from our hospital and after only one day of supervision on our part, had understood the disease and its effects and learned how to treat our son and administer his medication. Their level of dedication, professionalism and care will never cease to amaze us.

A safe and welcoming physical environment plays an important role in stimulating children's development and learning. The educational team is very qualified and its level is very high. It is surprising how consolidated it is and the good atmosphere that always reigns in all situations, no matter how stressful they may be. They have a great experience as teachers and are always aware of the latest developments in early childhood education. The English training of our young students has impressed me. I have really learned a lot from all the educators and my vocation has been reinforced.

We could talk about the educational project that this day care center follows, the dedication to cultural aspects or the warm welcome every day at the door of the day care center. But no, I want to focus on the emotional aspects, on the emotional intelligence that they apply and promote in our little ones. Friendship, support, affection are fostered and you can see how self-esteem is boosted day by day. Listening to my children repeat phrases that the teacher says to empower themselves fills me with tranquility and peace. My children are happy children in an environment that is not only formative but also emotionally balanced, sensitive, empathetic and healthy.

More than a nursery school is an extension of our home, a second home, ... From the first day, our daughter is happy in the nursery, enters and leaves full of joy. FABULOUS!!!! I have my son Maxi there and I am super happy! The treatment is great! Always looking after my son. Carmen is great as a director! I live in Sevilla Este, but it makes up for me to go to the nursery further away for the special treatment they have with children!!! the teaching is super good (I already have experience with nurseries I have 3 children so it has helped me to compare!) and I loved this one!!!I highly recommend it!!!!!
